Januar 2009 in allen Mitgliedstaaten außer Dänemark anwendbar ist, regelt nunmehr das für außervertragliche Schuldverhältnisse, insbesondere das Deliktsrecht, anwendbare Recht.Der Verfasser gibt einen Überblick über den Entstehungsprozess der Verordnung und beschreibt ihre grundlegenden Regelungen für den in der Praxis besonders bedeutsamen Bereich des Deliktsrechts.
